 Since the opening of the village retail room, the winery welcomes visitors by-appointment only. The remotely located vineyards and winery do open their door to the public seasonally for the successful “Saturday Open House” events. The line-up includes a Harvest celebration and Holiday Wine & Wreaths. The events offer wine, photography and avian enthusiasts a rich experience worthy of the inland drive. Founded in 1982, Joullian produces approximately 12,000 cases annually of estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, Carmel Valley’s only Zinfandel and Monterey Chardonnay. Joullian’s Chardonnay fruit is purchased from the cooler climate Salinas Valley vineyards: Sleepy Hollow and RogerRose. Distribution is most prominent in restaurants and a handful of fine wine shops. Joullian’s out-of-state distribution is limited. Joullian’s Village Tasting Room is open daily for tasting and sales from 11 am- 5 pm.
