Using barrel samples of pure Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, you will create the blends used by three great Bordeaux chateaus: Mouton Rothschild, Petrus and Cheval Blanc.
Compare and evaluate how different oak barrel styles change the taste and complexity of the wine.
Discover how minute blend percentages radically create different finished wines. Winemaker, Ridge Watson will then lead you through a library retrospective tasting of Joullian’s Carmel Valley Estate Cabernets, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
